Archsplace Atelier
Draw a building, get the plans.
Free BIM software that runs in your browser or on your computer. You draw the walls once, and the plans, sections and 3D follow.
What it does
From the first wall to the finished set.
Each feature has its own page in the documentation, with the gesture filmed step by step.
Wall
Wall draws walls on the plan as a chain: each wall is an axis between two clicks, or between a click and a length you type, with the thickness of the wall type chosen beside the tools. An end you put on another wall's end joins it, and each wall enters the project exactly as you drew it.
Read the page →Push/Pull
Push/Pull takes a face in the 3D view and moves it straight out of its plane: a drawn face becomes a volume, the face of a body makes the body grow or shrink. Pushed into a body, a face drawn on it carves a hole, and pushed through to the far side it cuts right through.
Read the page →Export IFC, DXF, image and PDF
The exports deliver the project as the files other people and programs read: the model as IFC, the view on screen as DXF or as a PNG image, an open sheet as a PDF and an open schedule as CSV or XLSX. Each file is named after the project and what it holds, and goes where every file of the atelier goes.
